Hogswatch is coming…

Such a jolly pair.

All Pratchett-fans gather for the end-of-year celebrations that is Hogswatch. This weekend there will be festivities at the (nearly) world-famous town of Wincanton in Somerset. Folks young and old will be brandishing costume keeping with the best of traditions (looking a silly-bugger), heartily quaffing ale by the barrelful, and forgetting which B&B they booked themselves into.

Such jollifications are rarely seen in the realm of ChrismaHanuKwanza - or at least not to the epic standards set by the Discworld followers.

I thoroughly look forward to attending.
