GRADING POLICY

Nice and simple, nice and fair - that's important to you, essential for us

As we operate through two on-line shops - eBay (ourmusical bus) and our own website (http://www.themusicalbus.com/) - it's important that we make it really simple to find and describe things. We want to ensure that everything you buy is properly described and graded: most of our stick is Brand New, but for the collectable items we have, we apply a consistent grading policy:  This section explains:

• How we describe the condition of our varied stock
• The shop categories and sub-categories we use to identify items 

ALL ITEMS ARE BRAND NEW UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED!

Every OTHER item that we list will be checked in advance and graded into one of seven "grades" as follows:

These grading definitions apply to all stock. However, for some items, not all categories apply. For example, a CD will either play, or it won't. If it plays, it is likely to be M/EX/VG/G dependent upon the state of the jewel-case and inserts. If it won't play, then it has to be B. Nice and simple.

Books, particularly hardbacks, also need to be qualified in terms of the edition and printing status (eg: First Edition, First Printing). Dust jackets (Where they should exist) are also part of the overall book grading.

DVDs should again either play (M/EX/VG/G etc) or not (B) and the condition is based upon the state of the case and inserts.

We want you to enjoy buying from us - and we want to have fun running the business. If we're fair and up-front, then that goes a long way towards helping us all - and judging by the great feedback we get through our shops, that's the way you like it!
