That's very much our motto - if we make it nice and easy for you to buy items from us, then we're sure that you'll want to come back and use us again.

Whether you buy through our eBay shop (ourmusicalbus) or direct from our website (http://www.themusicalbus.com/) we'll definitely keep it simple - it makes it better for us too.

In addition, we work hard to make sure that items get mailed out from our offices within 24 hours of receiving your payment: we can't control the postal system itself, but we know that you want to receive your goods quickly and efficiently. This key prinicple is reflected throughout our Post & Packing rates. 

POST AND  PACKING RATES

THE MUSICAL BUS STORE

• ALL ITEMS ARE POST-FREE IF MAILED TO A UK ADDRESS
• OVERSEAS ITEMS ARE SUBJECT TO A FLAT-RATE OF £2.00 PER ITEM

For example:

• A CD costing £6.99 and being mailed to a UK address: NO EXTRA P&P CHARGE!
• A CD costing £6.99 and being mailed AIR MAIL to a non-UK address: FLAT-RATE OF £2.00 - COST: £8.99

OUR eBAY STORE 

Our eBay store takes a slightly different approach which is much more in line with the majority of eBay sellers.  For both Auction Items and Buy It Now items we show an item price and then an additional Post & Packing price. The total amount payable would be the item price and the Post & Packing Price.

We operate like this for three main reasons:

• eBay make charges to list items as well charges on items bought from us and we need to cover some of these costs
• Most eBay browsers search for an item on a cost basis: if we added P&P costs and eBay charges into a single price, then we don't believe that our items would generate initial interest
• A number of eBay sellers offer attractive item prices and much higher P&P costs: we want to show how competitive we are!    

The following table shows our current P&P rates on eBay (although of course, each item shown on eBay willhave the P&P rate clearly shown every time):  

United Kingdom Addresss

All items are sent by FIRST CLASS MAIL (where rates exist)

• All items despatched within 24 hours of payment being received
• All payments need to be made through PayPal unless by prior agreement

OVERSEAS 

We're more than happy to ship items overseas.

Remember that items may be subject to customs charges and clearance delays - it's a pain, we know, but we want to make sure we're upfront and fair with our valued customers!

As a guide, the following table gives an idea of post and packing charges for the more common-place items.

All items are sent by AIR MAIL

• All items are despatched within 24 hours of payment being received
• All payments need to be made through Pay Pal  
• Maximum weight we will mail is 2kg (About 4.4lbs)

RECORDED DELIVERY (SIGNED FOR)

We don't usually send out items Recorded Delivery, but we're more than happy to do so should you want the additional peace of mind that it brings.

All you need to do is put a note in the "comments" section of your order form.

The Post Office make a charge of 70p per package and this needs to be added to your PayPal remittance.

RETURNS POLICY

Our aim is to make sure that you always get what you want.

We do this by:

• Always describing our items in the shop honestly and accurately
• Robustly packing and sealing an item before sending it out in the post

However, sometimes things might not work out.

So, if any of the following happens

• The item arrives having been damaged in transit
• The wrong item has been sent
• The item fails to meet our description and details

we'll be more than pleased to sort the matter out for you.

All you need to do to start the ball rolling is e-mail the details to us stating:

• Your names and address
• The e-Bay unique reference number (if applicable)
• Our invoice number
• The item concerned
• The problem

We'll then get on the case and agree the right solution with you. Typically this will either be a replacement item or a full refund.
